Technical Assistance to the Ministry of Health - Infrastructures Department
Public health infrastructures have been severely damaged by civil war. As a result, the Government of Mozambique has adopted a strategy to rehabilitate these existing infrastructures and restore their functionality. The objective of the technical assistance is to provide support to the Infrastructures Department of the Ministry of Health in order to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of works that have been financed by the EC.
Main activities carried out:
- Evaluation and preliminary approval of the projects detailed regarding the engineering design and economical and financial analysis
- Implementation of approved projects and coordination of the preparation of tender documents according to EDF procedures
- Planning and monitoring of contracts implementation
